Part of your role as a support worker is to apply leadership skills to your position, understand how leadership works in a health or wellbeing setting and know how your leadership skills will benefit you and those you work with.
You are required to collaborate with your colleagues, provide the best care for the person you support, and build positive relationships. In this course you will construct the necessary skills to use self-reflection as an effective tool for relationship building within your health or wellbeing setting.
You will learn about the principles of ethical practice, professional boundaries, ethical decision making, ethical dilemmas and supervision.
